Sandra Gerald of Brookhaven, MS, with 1st turkey of the season taken 3/30/03 in Copiah County.  This tom weighed 19 lbs., had a 9 1/2" beard and 7/8" spurs.  The turkey was shot trotting in, returning calls at about 40 yards.  This was Sandra's 3rd attempt to bring this bird home.  Also pictured, is her husband, Charles, who claimed his 2nd turkey of the season on the same morning about a 1/4 mile away.  He shot about 15 minutes after Sandra's shot.  Good Morning!!!!
