Matthew Bowman, age 12, of Brookhaven, MS, with his 1st turkey on his 1st ever turkey hunt, Saturday evening, March 15, 2003. This turkey sported a 7 3/8" beard with 3/4" spurs and was called in by Darrell Rushing who called in 3 turkeys over the youth weekend.

Pictured with Matthew is his dad, Rev. Otis Bowman of Johnson Grove Church of Christ and good friend, Brett Rushing age 11. This was a memorable and exciting hunt for all involved.
