Alan Duel Lawson Killed this 8 point buck with a 18" spread and weight about 175 to 180 pounds. It was shot late in the morning about 9:00 am.  It was the largest deer that Alan Lawson has shot to date.   The deer was taken in Franklin County Mississippi on land owned by Alan Buckles.  The deer was in the peak of rut and along with the picture of the deer is a picture of the tree that was rubbed.
