J. H. "Scooter" Whatley of Madison, MS took this big gobbler in Lauderdale County on March 27, 2004.  The bird had a 10 1/4 inch beard and 1 inch spurs.  Scooter filmed his own kill using a Sony Hi-8 Camcorder placed on a stool beside him.
