This nice buck, weighing 215 lbs. was killed near Natchez, by John Pennington of Brookhaven, MS.  Notice the distinct coloring, or line back.  Studies show this descends from the Michigan "blue deer" that was brought to Natchez, via the Mississippi River in 1950.
