This is Phillip Thomas' 1st deer. Phillip is 10 years old and  is from Hurley, MS. He was hunting with his Dad, David Thomas, on their club lease in Stone County on Jan. 17th, of 2004,  when this 147 lb. 6 point with a 13 1/2" inside spread chased a doe across a power line. Phillip got him on the move with one shot just behind the shoulder, with his Browning A-Bolt II, chambered in 7mm-08, that he got for his 10th birthday.
