David Westmoreland had been getting trail camera pics of the buck for the last couple weeks but did not get a chance to hunt him until last Thursday evening. He had been kidding some other hunters about the bucks making "Mockery Scrapes" around their stands and this buck was definitely making "Mockery Scrapes" around him. He hunted the buck four times, saw him three and had to move to keep the wind each time. Wednesday on his way back from Dunn's Sporting Goods, David decided to try to get in an evening hunt and his only hope, because of the wind, was the "Scarface" deer decoy from Primos. He got to the stand at 4:45PM, set up "Scarface" and in short at 5:20PM the buck was down. He came into the Clover Plus food plot chasing does and with two snort wheezes he saw the decoy and was on his way. David  shot him at 18yds. and as he strutted his stuff for old "Scarface". Anyway, David says "It was an awesome feeling to get a particular buck that I was really wanting to kill. They are all special, even after all the years of hunting, but when I am fortunate enough to harvest a particular anima,l it really means something special to me!"
