Brian Burkley of Brandon
proudly poses with the old, massive 8-point, 160 classy typical buck taken
on opening day of archery season, 2009.
The buck, still in full
velvet, had massive antlers with 7-inch bases and it carries that mass
pretty much the length of the 27-inch main beams. Burkley said in green
scoring, the circumference measurements total over 42 inches. It has a
21-inch inside spread.
