Gross 133 5/8

Brock Garrison from Elaine, Arkansas his exciting harvest and told The Bragging Post the following, "On this particular hunt, I was in zone 4a in Arkansas. This zone is close to the Mississippi River. I have hunted this spot very hard this year and it has finally paid off! On the evening of Friday, December the 14th 2009 around 4:30 I was walking down a fence row to a small thicket in a sea of cut and plowed bean fields. I was running rather late because of work.  I hugged the fence row and quietly but quickly tried to get to my destination when all of a sudden 120yds in front of me, out of the fence row stepped a nice ten point. I watched carefully through my binoculars as he stepped away from the fence row. I slowly replaced my binoculars with my rifle scope, took aim, and fired. The Buck jumped high, made a large circle and into the fence row he went.
I ran to the fence and tried to see if the Buck ran across the small flat and over the Levee. I waited..nothing, my happiness was growing as I decided to creep down the wildly over grown fence row. Not sure of my shot placement I kept a hard watch, through the fence, on the levee. Then, as if I hadn't even hit him, there he stood just out of the fence row less than 30yds further. I took a nervous aim and fired...OH No. I watched as the bullet hit the dirt 200yds in the distance. I quickly bolted another shell into my Browning 270, and this time, made it count. He was down! I began immediately calling friends and telling them about this blessing when I realized He was only half it. To my astonishment, I had just witnessed and thankfully was a part of , what I like to call beautiful confusion as I stood looking at two very nice ten points laying less than 30yds apart. These two bucks were far bigger than anything I had ever seen hunting, much less killed. The first of the two tens gross scored around 141, weighing close to 195 dressed. His width is 17 4/8. R main is 23 7/8 and L main is 22 3/8. The second grosses 133 5/8 , weighing almost 200 dressed with 15 1/4 spread."
