Rattle Snake is about 4ft long with 9 rattlers and a button.

This Rattle Snake was killed in the Lincoln County area near Caseyville on 12/16/09. It was plain luck that it was even seen coiled up by its uprooted winter home, sun bathing…This is proof that though it is really cold outside, they are not hibernating as all of us would like them to be.
