Landon Smith of Hazlehurst, MS (formally from Brookhaven) killed this deer on the first evening (11-2-09) of his bow hunt to North Missouri while hunting with some friends. Landon said, "Saw this deer about 350 to 400 yards away, I hit 'The Tank'™ (estrous bleat from Crossland Game Calls) and he came on a dead march to 25yards. This is my biggest bow kill to date. As Shane Easterling told me, 'If you will shoot him on the last day, why not shoot him on the first day!' So that’s what I did!"
