Scott wrote, "We saw the buck in the morning following about 5 does but he was too far and there were too many limbs to make an ethical shot.  We moved to a different stand about 300 yards away from where we sat that morning where we saw him head towards.  After setting there only about 20 minutes, the buck stepped out at about 125 yards with 7 does and the Remington 7mm 08 put him down.  He was harvested at about 3 p.m."
