Killed September 5, 2009, opening day of bow season in Kentucky.
I went to Double D Outfitters in Western Kentucky and hunted with them. They had this buck on camera from earlier in the summer. We scouted and found some big tracks near a stand they had hung not too far from where the pictures were taken so I decided to hunt there the first afternoon. Sure enough, about 20 minutes before dark he walked out right under me heading into a crp field and I put a killing shot on him with my Mathews at only 7 yards. He only made it about 10 yards before piling up.
