This year started with Angie Warnock wanting to bow hunt. And the quest began with a hot summer and temperatures.  hitting over 100 every day for several weeks. But, it didn't stop her. She shot her bow every day,  but little did she know the buck of her dreams was waiting on her. 

Opening weekend in October, she took a 5 point buck. And it seemed like a dream come true for Angie. She was proud of her buck, but little did she know that a few weeks later that a buck of her dreams was so close.

On the open day of youth weekend, her boy friend, Sam Anderson told her to go bow hunting while he would took her son to a box stand to hunt to give her a chance to kill a big buck. It paid off. After seeing 7 does and a spike, the big 8 point showed up and Angie took the shoot at 15 yards and made it count. Hitting the buck high made for a hard blood trail, but Hollywood, the blood dog, helped out and found the buck and helped make the afternoon a dream come true, thanks to a great dog and friends .

The buck was found and her dream came true. Those hot summer days shooting her bow paid off.
