Gunar Brister of Wesson, MS killed his 1st buck on an early morning hunt on January 18, 2011 while hunting with his dad, Chris, and 5 yr old brother, Connor.  Gunar spotted the buck 1st as his dad was trying to snooze.  After waking Chris to confirm it was a buck, Gunar shot the buck with his .243. The 6 point was easy to blood trail for about 100 yd then a friend's lab was called in to retrieve him about 1/4 mi. in a creek.  Congratulations Gunar!
