James wrote, "The big 8 pt was chasing does on a large powerline. I was in one house stand, the deer was on another track of land that I hunt. I had to get out and drive around to enter this track with a cross wind. The deer had already left the powerline so I was able to slip into another house stand and grunted a few times. The big 8 pt came out into the food plot looking for the intruder. I took the shot with my new 7mm-08 at 107 yards.This was my first time to shoot at a deer with this gun."
