Kayla Whatley Smith killed this 175lb 8 point with a 14 inch spread on private land in Lincoln County while hunting with her hunting buddy and husband, Sawyer Smith. She shot the deer at 70 yards with a 243 while walking the edge of a food plot. Sawyer said " I heard her shoot and then felt my phone start vibrating, I couldn't even understand what she was saying, but finally made out she shot a buck! He asked are you sure you hit it, Kayla replied oh yeah, right in the pumpin station!!" The buck went 40 yards before crashing. Congratulations Kayla!!
