Landon Smith of Crystal Springs, MS killed this big buck with his bow, in Illinois on the morning of Nov 7^th. He gross scored 170 2/8 and had 39 4/8 inches of mass, and is 18 7/8" wide. Landon said “Hunted my stand all morning and had only seen a coon. My buddy, Scott Johnson (pictured in the picture with me), had told me he would be picking me up at 10:00am that morning. So I stood up and got all my stuff together about 9:50 and at 9;55 I looked to my left and could not believe my eyes. He walked to within 30 yards of the back of my stand and I took the shot. Could not believe it! Thank You, Lord! And thanks to Scott, for inviting me to go on this trip with him!”
