Magen Prather of Bogue Chitto harvested both of the above pictured bucks in Claiborne County, MS. The first one was taken January 10, 2011, and the second one was taken January 13, 2011. What a good week!

And as you can also see, she is quite an accomplished duck hunter.

Magen is also on her way to stardom.  The 24-year-old Lincoln County hunter is the newest team member of "Banded Nation", an outdoor company specializing in hunting shows, outdoor gear and game calls.

"Banded Nation" has already put Prather to work modeling its apparel and demonstrating its custom game calls, and she's already been filmed participating in the TV shows. She'll be seen in the third season of The Fowl Life, a show about hunting fowl and predators, which airs on June 29 and runs through Dec. 26. Dead Dog Walkin', a new "Banded Nation" production about predator hunting, will premiere on March 28 and run through June 29.

The shows may be seen on the Sportsman Channel, which airs on DirecTV channel 605, Dish Network channel 395 and Franklin Telephone's channel 91; and Wild TV, a Canadian outdoors channel.
