12 year old Scott Kennedy of Jackson, MS hunted hard all season before killing this buck after school on 1-19-11 in Hinds County.  A 100 yard shot from his Ruger .308 compact dropped the 165 pound buck with just a couple of minutes shooting light remaining.  It appears he broke off the right G-2, but trail cam pictures show that he injured the tine in velvet.
