This 9 point was taken by Scott Walker ( on the left ) and Todd Lewis in Adams county, Mississippi on November 14, 2010.  This was whirlwind hunt in which I was in the woods only an hour.  I was hunting some of Todd’s family land and we had not had time to scout.  We just walked in the woods, found a promising place and set up in a climbing stand.  I was looking over an old log road and decided to use my grunt call.  I figured it couldn’t hurt to try even though I knew it probably wouldn’t work.  Imagine my surprise when 10 minutes after using it this 9 point and a 6 point walked up behind me!  He was shot with a Hoyt Ketera at 15 yards and fell 20 yards after he was hit.  Thanks to Todd and his Mother-in-law, “Mimi”, this was the hunt of a lifetime for me!"
