The deer was taken by Joe "BARTOW" Brooks on leased property in Jefferson county Georgia. The tall rack nine (9) point was in route behind two doe's. Joe spent most of the morning setting, looking and grunting until the doe's and buck appeared. Joe took the deer with a Remington model 700 chamber in 25-06. Joe stated he had seen a similar buck in the same location two days before the kill, but could not get a clear shot.
