Chris Carraway killed this turkey on 3/28/2011 in Amite County.

The afternoon before Chris was set up on this gobbler and a coyote came in and busted them apart.  Then, as they flew down and started getting back together, Chris started putting to see if he maybe could get them to come his way, but what did come was a large coyote. After taking him out, he decided to come back the following morning to see if he could call the gobbler in.

When he gobbled, Chris closed the gap and he came right in.  The turkey had a 10 1/2 inch beard 3/4 inch spurs and weighed 17 lbs.

Chris has already killed one exactly the same size this year
