Erin Dewease of Oxford, MS caught this bass on a private pond in Lauderdale County, MS on March 18, 2005, while fishing for crappie with a 4 and 1/2 foot long Shakespeare Ultralight with 4 lb. test line and a beetle spin.  The sow weighed 6 lbs and should have been a good bit more.  Note the bloody tail from fanning her bed and the flabby deflated belly.  Erin's husband, Brandon, stated, "I was extraordinarily proud of Erin.  It is her biggest fish to date."
